A field of giraffe poo has been seized by customs brokers at a US airport after a girl tried to carry the faeces into the nation to make a necklace.
The lady had declared the small field of poo when she was chosen to have her belongings inspected upon arriving on the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport in Minnesota on 29 September, US Customs and Border Protection has mentioned.
She advised officers she picked up the poo on a visit to Kenya and introduced it again in her baggage to make a necklace.
The lady, from Iowa, mentioned she had beforehand made a necklace with moose faeces.
Giraffe poo will be introduced into the US with the correct permits and inspections, in accordance with Minnesota Public Radio.
The station reported that the girl won’t face sanctions as a result of she declared the faeces and gave it to customs officers.
The company’s agriculture specialists destroyed the giraffe poo.

LaFonda D Sutton-Burke, a subject director at US Customs and Border Protection, mentioned: “There is an actual hazard with bringing faecal matter into the US.
“If this person had entered the US and had not declared these items, there is high possibility a person could have contracted a disease from this jewellery and developed serious health issues.”
African swine fever, classical swine fever, Newcastle illness, foot-and-mouth illness and swine vesicular illness are amongst illnesses in Kenya that customs officers have cited as dangers.
