A US congressman was carjacked by three attackers in Washington.
Democrat Henry Cuellar, who represents Texas’s twenty eighth district, was held up at gunpoint not removed from the US Capitol constructing on Monday.
His chief of employees launched a press release saying: “As Congressman Cuellar was parking his car this evening, three armed assailants approached the congressman and stole his vehicle.
“Luckily, he was not harmed and is working with native regulation enforcement.”
The theft occurred at 9.30pm within the Navy Yard space, a couple of mile from the US Capitol, based on the Washington Post. Police later recovered his automobile.
It was the second assault on a member of Congress within the DC space this 12 months.

Democrat Angie Craig, a congresswoman for Minnesota, was attacked in her Washington condo constructing in February.
She suffered bruises however was not severely damage.
Her chief of employees mentioned it did not seem like politically motivated and an individual later pleaded responsible to assault.
