Erik Compton: Heartwork transplant golfer charged after ‘pushing spouse in opposition to wall’, Miami police say

An expert US golfer, who survived two coronary heart transplants, has been arrested on home abuse prices after allegedly pushing his spouse in opposition to a wall and throwing her cellphone right into a pool.

Erik Compton, 43, was charged with strong-armed theft and misdemeanour battery.

Compton was arrested at his dwelling in Miami on Saturday after an argument along with his spouse, Miami-Dade Police stated.

The pair had been stated to be having a verbal dispute when she started filming the change on her cellphone.

Compton allegedly took the cellphone and threw it in a pool earlier than grabbing his spouse by the shoulder and pushing her right into a wall, police stated.

She left the house and referred to as the police from a pal’s residence.

He was charged on the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami earlier than being launched on bond.
