After years of constructing followers wait, Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games has lastly confirmed plans to disclose GTA 6. Confirming current rumours and reviews, Rockstar instructed followers that the brand new Grand Theft Auto will probably be unveiled as a part of the corporate’s 25-year anniversary celebrations. Specifically, Rockstar Games introduced that the primary trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 can have an “early December” launch date.

“Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about — without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us,” writes Houser.
“In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.
“We are very excited to let that in early December, we’ll launch the primary trailer for the subsequent Grand Theft Auto. We sit up for many extra years of sharing these experiences with all of you.”
While the exact date remains unknown, there’s speculation that the trailer could air during The Game Awards on December 7.
Fans will find out for sure closer in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for the latest information.
Based on previous leaks, one thing we can be fairly certain of is that GTA 6 will take place in Vice City.
It looks like GTA 6 will also feature male and female playable characters. In one scene during a leaked video the characters were shown robbing a diner, which backs up earlier reports of a Bonnie and Clyde-style dynamic.
Another leak suggests Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature multiple drag racing strips, as well as at least one farm.
In terms of a release date, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors to expect a record cash boost in the 2025 fiscal year, which runs from April 2024 to March 2025.
Needless to say, Zelnick’s comments have fuelled speculation that Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch during this period, as only something like GTA could generate “file ranges of working efficiency” for Take-Two Interactive.
