Syrian state media reported on Monday that an Israeli missile assault concentrating on the neighborhood of Syria’s capital, Damascus, had killed 4 troopers and wounded 4 others.
The report, which cited an unidentified army supply, mentioned the strike had occurred at about 2:20 a.m. and had come from the path of the Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria in 1967 and later annexed.
Syrian air defenses shot a few of the missiles down, in response to the report, which mentioned there had been some materials injury.
Last month, Israeli forces attacked seven targets in Damascus, in response to Israeli reports. They have been mentioned to incorporate warehouses utilized by Hezbollah, the Lebanese armed group, which, together with Iran, has supported the federal government of President Bashar al-Assad within the Syrian civil battle.
Israel has acknowledged tons of of past attacks on Iran-linked targets in Syria.
