Manned by mysterious figures draped in black and donning conventional Venetian masks, early rising metropolis employees and cyclists have been stunned by the eerie boats.

They emerged from a thick cloud of fog that was forged over the waterways – however the fearsome figures have been really celebrating the launch of ‘A Haunting in Venice’, which is in cinemas this Friday.
