Train drivers to stage extra time ban for one more week as a part of pay dispute

rain drivers are to stage one other week of banning extra time of their lengthy operating dispute over pay.

Aslef introduced that its members at 15 prepare operators will refuse to work extra time from July 17 to 22.

This follows a week-long extra time ban which started on Monday till July 8.

The withdrawal of non-contractual extra time, or relaxation day working, will have an effect on Avanti West Coast; Chiltern Railways; Cross Country; East Midlands Railway; Greater Anglia; Great Western Railway; GTR Great Northern Thameslink; Island Line; LNER; Northern Trains; Southeastern; Southern/Gatwick Express; South Western Railway important line; TransPennine Express; and West Midlands Trains.
